2014年3月8日下午，淅淅沥沥的雨停了，早春蓬勃的气息随着江财留学生的热情，扑面而来。十一名来自不同国家的留学生在志愿者的带领下，来到了位于郊区的新建县特殊教育学校。

    在来到特殊教育学校之前，留学生就非常期待见到孩子们。老师们对留学生的到来表示欢迎，在带留学生们去见孩子们的路上，还教留学生们一些简单的手语来与这些孩子们进行简单的交流。留学生们也非常积极的学习了一下比较简单的手语，如，你好、谢谢和我爱你等。

    见到孩子们之后，留学生们都纷纷拿出早已准备好的小礼物和小零食与这些孩子们分享。因为这些孩子都在语言和听力上有障碍，所以，在志愿者的协助下，留学生们在纸上与这些孩子们交流，并且问候彼此。不一会儿，留学生们和这些孩子们就打成了一片。受学校老师之邀，留学生们和这些孩子们还进行了一场“国际性”的乒乓友谊赛。来自芬兰的Heber和来自墨西哥的Oscar更是向我们展示了他们精湛的球技，当然，这些孩子们也不示弱，展现了中国国球的魅力。

    之后，留学生们还去参观了孩子们的宿舍和教室，几近离别的时刻，大家一起合影留念，并且依依不舍的道别。在回校的途上，留学生们都表示这次义工体验真的很让人怀念，他们表示以后有机会一定给这些特殊的孩子们带来更多的关爱。(文/赖梦丽  编辑/匡琳)

Overseas Students Visit Special Education School

On March 8th, 11 overseas students participated in the visit to deaf0-mute children at Xinjian County Special Education School, which was co-organized by volunteers from Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges (OICE) and JUFE Volunteers Association.

Even though the children there are different from normal kids, they are active and easy to get along with. Overseas students allocated prepared candies to the children and interacted with them in pen and paper. The children invited overseas students to play table tennis with them, all overseas students were surprised that China’s national game is so hard but the children are so good at it. Through playing table tennis and taking various photos, the children spent a full and enjoyable afternoon with overseas students.

Oscar, a student from Mexico, said, this visit provides him a precious opportunity to learn the real China: the countryside, the local people and the vulnerable groups, they have seen not only prosperity but also reality in China, which gave them a deep understanding of China’s national conditions and made their life at JUFE more meaningful.

So far, the special education school has received many supports from the government and donations from social members, it’s becoming a warm home for the deaf and dumb children. Wish them all the best in the future!
